I became a REALTOR in 2008. The market was tough. Buyers had a hard time qualifying for loans, and sellers were taking losses on their properties. Being an agent in that difficult market made me work extra hard to help my clients. It's true that the market has changed in the last decade, but I work just as hard to help my buyers and sellers. I don't know how to do business any other way! I have helped hundreds of families through this complex financial transaction. My job is to help my buyers purchase the "best fit" house for the least amount possible, and to help my sellers sell the property for the most money possible in the least amount of time.
I earned a BA in Speech Communications from University of Washington in 1994. I was drawn to this field of study because I am particularly interested in how we solve problems through good communication. This degree lends itself well to my work in Real Estate, especially if the transaction hits a snag on the way to close. It takes about 26 people to help transfer property from one person to the other in the state of Washington, and my job as your REALTOR is to manage the transaction so that you can focus on the important things in your life.
Besides belonging to the REALTOR association, extra education that I have received in the past 10 years has helped me earn the following credentials and designations:
In addition, I have taken extra classes on predatory lending, human land use, critical areas/waterways, Meth madness, and others as a way to continuously provide the best representation possible for my clients.
My unique training gives my clients a competitive edge in any challenging market. With our current inventory hovering at around 1 month supply in Kitsap County, this is a really tough market for buyers. My job is to help my buyers get in the best possible negotiating position so that you can beat out other competitors to win the home. I start with an in-house meeting to preview what to expect from the current market conditions and so that you can make sure we are a good fit to work together. This meeting is invaluable...especially for first time buyers. For seasoned buyers, this meeting serves to review ways the market and laws may have changed since last time you purchased property.
This market also presents some challenges for sellers. I can help you negotiate top dollar for your listing. There's more to selling a house than sticking a sign in the yard. Let my knowledge and expertise work for YOU! My comprehensive marketing plan includes lots of extras that other agents don't do. I recognize that identifying the sales price through a market analysis is a major concern for sellers. The comparative market analysis is one of the services that I provide to the sellers who have chosen to work with me.
